Mathew Fraiser (4 time CrossFit Games champion and coffee connoisseur) approached me to design a portable espresso machine that was 100% hand powered. This prototype allows the user to tamper the perfect portafilter full of coffee grinds, and brew at the perfect pressure without ever having to flip the filter assembly over.
